Beginning from the sacred town of Gangotri, the trail winds through alpine forests, boulder-strewn paths, and the mighty Gangotri Glacier, finally reaching the vast meadows of Tapovan, nestled under the imposing Mt. Shivling (6,543 m). This moderate-to-difficult trek blends spiritual serenity with rugged adventure, making it ideal for fit trekkers looking to experience the divine and natural beauty of Uttarakhand.

Day 1: Drive from Dehradun to Gangotri

  • Distance: 242 km | Duration: 8 hours

  • Pick-up Point:  Dehradun at 6:00 AM

  • Highlights: Scenic drive through Uttarkashi and the Bhagirathi valley.

  • Distance: 10 km | Trek Duration: 6 hours

  • Difficulty: Moderate

  • Terrain: 300 m steep ascent followed by a gradual trail through pine forests with views of Bhagirathi peaks.

  • Distance: 5 km | Trek Duration: 3 hours

  • Difficulty: Moderate

  • Highlights: Open valley views and the first glimpse of Gaumukh glacier.

  • Distance: 6 km | Trek Duration: 9 hours

  • Difficulty: Difficult

  • Highlights: Walk over Gangotri Glacier, steep climbs, close-up views of Mt. Shivling and Meru.

  • Distance: 6 km | Trek Duration: 5 hours

  • Difficulty: Moderate

  • Highlights: Return via same scenic glacier route, gradual descent.

  • Distance: 14 km | Trek Duration: 8 hours

  • Difficulty: Moderate

  • Highlights: Long descent with some tricky boulder sections.

  • Distance: 242 km | Duration: 8 hours

  • Drop Point: Hotel Grand Legacy, Dehradun

  • Purpose: Used only in case of weather delays or emergencies

  • Note: Decision to use buffer day is taken by the trek leader.

Package Inclusions
  1. Deluxe Room with Double Sharing Basis or same or similar hotels.
  2. Overnight at Camp Only and No Meals Included
  3. Meals as per the package (Breakfast, Dinner).
  4. Transfers and sightseeing as mentioned above.
  5. All toll tax, parking, fuel, and driver allowances.

  1. All accommodations are categorized under Standard Rooms. Triple/Quad-sharing arrangements
    accommodate four individuals per room, while double-sharing arrangements include two
    individuals per room.
  2. Please note that hot water for bathing is not provided during the Kedarnath stay.
  3. Children under the age of 5 are not charged; however, only one child is permitted in a group of
    four, and they will be accommodated within the same room.
  4. For children aged 6 to 8, half the adult fare is applicable. Children aged 9 and above are
    considered adults and will be charged accordingly.

Advance Deposit: To secure your tour package, please deposit an advance 30%
of total Amount

Pre-Tour Payment: Kindly ensure that 50% of the total amount is paid with in 5 to 7 Days after booking confirmation date, which is prior to the commencement of the tour. This payment serves as confirmation of your participation.

Final Payment: The remaining balance is to be settled upon your arrival, before
the start of the tour.
