What is the best time to do the Brahmatal Trek?

 The best time is December to March, when the trail is covered in snow and offers mesmerizing views of Mt. Trishul and Nanda Ghunti.

 Yes, it’s a moderate-level trek ideal for fit beginners with a little preparation and good stamina.

The trek spans approximately 22–24 km and is completed over 6 days, including travel to and from the basecamp.

 Comfortable tented accommodation or guesthouses will be provided at each campsite on a twin/triple-sharing basis.

During winter months, snow is almost guaranteed and the summit offers spectacular 360° Himalayan views, weather permitting.

The Brahmatal Trek is one of the most captivating winter treks in Uttarakhand, perfect for snow-lovers and Himalayan view seekers. Spanning six days, this scenic journey starts from Rishikesh and leads you through oak and rhododendron forests, pristine alpine meadows, and frozen lakes, all while offering breathtaking views of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti. The trek’s high point is the Brahmatal summit (12,250 ft), where the snow-laden landscape and panoramic Himalayan views create an unforgettable experience. It’s ideal for moderately fit beginners and seasoned trekkers alike.

Day 1: Drive from Rishikesh to Lohajung

  • 🏞️ Altitude Gain: 9,180 ft → 10,495 ftThe path climbs gradually, offering panoramic views and leading to open meadows near Tilandi.

  1. All accommodations are categorized under Standard Rooms. Triple/Quad-sharing arrangements
    accommodate four individuals per room, while double-sharing arrangements include two
    individuals per room.
  2. Please note that hot water for bathing is not provided during the Kedarnath stay.
  3. Children under the age of 5 are not charged; however, only one child is permitted in a group of
    four, and they will be accommodated within the same room.
  4. For children aged 6 to 8, half the adult fare is applicable. Children aged 9 and above are
    considered adults and will be charged accordingly.

Advance Deposit: To secure your tour package, please deposit an advance 30%
of total Amount

Pre-Tour Payment: Kindly ensure that 50% of the total amount is paid with in 5 to 7 Days after booking confirmation date, which is prior to the commencement of the tour. This payment serves as confirmation of your participation.

Final Payment: The remaining balance is to be settled upon your arrival, before
the start of the tour.
