The Dayara Bugyal Trek is a beginner-friendly Himalayan adventure, perfect for families and first-time trekkers. Starting from Raithal, a scenic village in Uttarakhand, the trek takes you through dense forests, open meadows, and stunning alpine vistas with views of snow-capped peaks like Bandarpoonch. Over six days, you’ll experience charming campsites like Gui and Chilapada, reach the breathtaking Dayara Top at 11,830 ft, and descend through picturesque landscapes. The trek offers a blend of comfort, natural beauty, and gentle trails — ideal for a soulful mountain escape.
Day 1: Drive from Dehradun to Raithal
Distance: 185 km
Duration: Approx. 9 hours
Pickup Point: Hotel Grand Legacy, Dehradun
Pickup Time: 6:30 AM
Altitude: Dehradun (2,100 ft) to Raithal (7,142 ft)
Transport: AC/Non-AC shared vehicle arranged by trek operator

A scenic drive through the Garhwal Himalayas, crossing towns like Uttarkashi. Reach the peaceful mountain village of Raithal, the starting point of the trek.
Day 2: Trek from Raithal to Gui
Trek Distance: 4.5 km
Duration: 5 hours
Altitude Gain: 7,142 ft → 9,630 ft
Trail Description:
A well-defined trail through forests of oak and rhododendron. Gradual ascent with mountain views and a chance to spot birds. Camp at Gui, a charming forest clearing.
Day 3: Trek from Gui to Chilapada
Trek Distance: 2.5 km
Duration: 2–3 hours
Altitude Gain: 9,630 ft → 10,515 ft
Trail Description:
Short yet steep ascent to Chilapada, surrounded by alpine forests and open meadows. This is an acclimatization day with light trekking to help adjust to higher altitude.
Day 4: Trek from Chilapada to Nayata via Dayara Top
Trek Distance: 9.5 km
Duration: 6–7 hours
Altitude Gain & Loss: 10,515 ft → 11,830 ft (Dayara Top) → 9,186 ft (Nayata)
Trail Description:
The most scenic day of the trek! Early morning push to Dayara Top, the highest point of the trek, offering panoramic views of Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, and Srikanth Massif. After soaking in the views, descend to Nayata campsite for overnight stay.
Day 5: Trek from Nayata to Raithal

Please Note
- All accommodations are categorized under Standard Rooms. Triple/Quad-sharing arrangements
accommodate four individuals per room, while double-sharing arrangements include two
individuals per room. - Please note that hot water for bathing is not provided during the Kedarnath stay.
- Children under the age of 5 are not charged; however, only one child is permitted in a group of
four, and they will be accommodated within the same room. - For children aged 6 to 8, half the adult fare is applicable. Children aged 9 and above are
considered adults and will be charged accordingly.
Advance Deposit: To secure your tour package, please deposit an advance 30%
of total Amount
Pre-Tour Payment: Kindly ensure that 50% of the total amount is paid with in 5 to 7 Days after booking confirmation date, which is prior to the commencement of the tour. This payment serves as confirmation of your participation.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is to be settled upon your arrival, before
the start of the tour.
