Day 1: Reach Panthwari from Dehradun, Drive to Goat Village & Trek to Khatian

  • Drive Distance (Dehradun to Panthwari): 100 km | Drive Duration: 4-5 hours

  • Pick-up Points:

    • 6:30 AM: Grand Legacy Hotel, Lalpul, Dehradun

    • 7:30 AM: Library Chowk, Mussoorie

  • Drive Distance (Panthwari to Goat Village): 10 km | Drive Duration: 1 hour

  • Trek Distance: 2.5 km | Trek Duration: 2-3 hours

  • Altitude Gain: 4652 ft to 7506 ft

  • The journey begins with transport arranged at 6:30 AM from Grand Legacy Hotel, Dehradun.

  • The trek begins after a 10 km off-road drive to the trailhead at Goat Village.

  • The trail to Khatian is a gradual ascent along a stone path laid by the forest department, with a moderate climb featuring some loose stones.

  • After reaching Khatian, you’ll spend the night there, enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

  • Trek Distance: 9.3 km

  • Trek Duration: 4-5 hours

  • Altitude Gain and Loss: 7506 ft to 9915 ft to 4652 ft

  • Drop-off Point: Hotel Grand Legacy, Dehradun | Drop-off Time: 10 PM

Details:

  • The trek begins with a moderate ascent to Nag Tibba Base, followed by a steep climb to the summit of Nag Tibba at 9,915 ft.

  • After reaching the summit and soaking in the panoramic views of the Garhwal Himalayas, descend back to Goat Village.

  • Once at Goat Village, you will drive back to Panthwari.

  • After a freshen up at Panthwari, you will be transported back to Dehradun with an expected arrival time of 10:00 PM at Grand Legacy Hotel, Dehradun.

  1. All accommodations are categorized under Standard Rooms. Triple/Quad-sharing arrangements
    accommodate four individuals per room, while double-sharing arrangements include two
    individuals per room.
  2. Please note that hot water for bathing is not provided during the Kedarnath stay.
  3. Children under the age of 5 are not charged; however, only one child is permitted in a group of
    four, and they will be accommodated within the same room.
  4. For children aged 6 to 8, half the adult fare is applicable. Children aged 9 and above are
    considered adults and will be charged accordingly.

Advance Deposit: To secure your tour package, please deposit an advance 30%
of total Amount

Pre-Tour Payment: Kindly ensure that 50% of the total amount is paid with in 5 to 7 Days after booking confirmation date, which is prior to the commencement of the tour. This payment serves as confirmation of your participation.

Final Payment: The remaining balance is to be settled upon your arrival, before
the start of the tour.
